Official Match Rules And Checklist
Match Format
- 5 overs per innings
- 6 players per team
- 5 wickets per innings
- 2 pitches — 2 matches conducted simultaneously
- Match duration: 35 minutes
- Maximum 2 Players are allowed on Boundary (Boundary starts from bowling wicket)
Gameplay Rules
- No batsman declaration allowed
- Empire's decision will be final (professional umpires appointed)
- All extra runs count except LBW
- Stump out allowed in all forms
- Next batsman must reach the crease within 2 minutes; else timeout will be applied
- Timeout batsman will not be allowed to play in the ongoing match
Team Qualification
- Top 2 teams from each group qualify for the semifinals
- Semifinals and final will be knockout matches
- Team reaching the ground after 10 minutes of match time will be disqualified
- Only official employees of the registered software house are allowed to participate
- If any player is found to be an outsider (not employed by the respective software house), the entire team will be disqualified from the tournament
Bowling Rules
- Bowling limit: 2-1-1-1
- One spinner is mandatory per team
- Illegal bowling action strictly prohibited
- Fast bowling must follow legal action
Scoring & Leaderboard
- Scores will be officially updated on Sky Infinit's website
- Winning team receives 2 points
- Leaderboard will be ranked by total points
Super Over Rules (in case of tie)
- 1 super over per team
- 3 batsmen allowed
- 2 wickets maximum
Code of Conduct
- Smoking and abusive language strictly prohibited
- Violation may lead to disqualification from the tournament
- All players must wear their official team kits
